Thomas & Friends (2026) is an upcoming streaming/television reboot of the 1984 television series of the same name in the works at Mattel Studios. The series is said to be a "thrilling new journey that is set to delight fans old and new."
Much like All Engines Go, this series takes place in a continuity separate from the original Thomas & Friends series. It was subtly teased in a press article during the 80th Anniversary celebrations of the franchise in May 2025, and would eventually be officially announced on January 27, 2026.
The series is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in the United States in September 2026, and on Channel 5's Milkshake! block in the United Kingdom sometime in Autumn 2026.
