The Dream is Alive is an American IMAX short documentary film, released on June 1, 1985, about NASA's Space Shuttle program. The film was narrated by Walter Cronkite, and directed by Graeme Ferguson.
Skywalker Sound (then known as Sprocket Systems) provided Post-Production Sound Services; Ben Burtt served as the Supervising Sound Designer and Re-Recording Mixer with Gary Summers. T.M. Christopher and John Benson were Sound Editors, and albeit uncredited, Greg Smith performed foley.
Storyline
Traveling on the Space Shuttle, covers training, launch, flight, deployment of LDEF from Challenger in April 1984 (STS-41C).
