this is a Rare sound effect that can be found on Kiddie Series Sounds made by a company called "TOPS Records". this recording features train sounds intended for use with scale model trains, like chugging and whistles. this sound effect is mixed up with Standard Sound Effect (454B) LOCOMOTIVE EFFECT's chugging sound and a Hancock 4700 air whistle, which is a kind of diesel train air whistle.
The air whistle is said to have been recorded from a Metro North Commuter Railway Company diesel engine or from a New Haven Railroad one.
