This sound effect can be found on The General Series 6000 Sound Effects Library, which was made by Sound Ideas. It is the same track as Sound Ideas, RADIO, POLICE - POLICE RADIO CALL: FEMALE DISPATCHER 02.
Though it may not seem audible at first, the female dispatcher says, "Hollenbeck units, any Hollenbeck unit, unknown trouble, 600 Northmont, 600 Northmont, apartment 4, open 911 line. Any Hollenbeck units, a 2-high, MTS 1779 and RD 457". When that message is broken down, ones begin to understand the context: “Hollenbeck units” refers to officers in the Hollenbeck Division (LAPD division in East Los Angeles), “Unknown trouble” means the dispatcher doesn’t know the exact situation yet, “600 Northmont, apartment 4” is the address of the incident, “Open 911 line” means that someone called 911, but didn’t speak, or the line is still open with background noise. This is treated seriously because it could indicate distress, or someone unable to talk. “2-high” likely means high priority call and that officers should respond quickly. MTS 1779 means "Message/dispatch system ID", and RD 457 means "Report number".
As of 2026, the dispatcher is asking any available unit in the Hollenbeck area to respond to a high-priority unknown situation at an apartment where a 911 call was made but no one is responding.
