This sound effect can be found on The General Series 6000 Sound Effects Library, which was made by Sound Ideas. In spite of its name, the sound is actually that of a woodlark. Conversely, BIRD, WOODLARK - SINGING, ANIMAL on the same library is an actual skylark sound. The sound effect later got recycled into three separate more accurately-named excerpts on the Just Birds & Animals II Sound Effects Library as BIRD, LARK - MALE WOODLARK: SHORT CALL, ANIMAL 01, 02, and 03.
