Smart Mouth was an interstitial series of shorts that aired in-between shows during commercial breaks on HBO Family in 1999, alongside its sister segment, Who Knew? It later aired during the Magnet block starting from its launch in 2001, and occasionally aired during Jam or during miscellaneous Afternoon Programming, like Who Knew?, starting from 2005. The interstitial series is based on the segment "Distraction News", from the popular HBO Family show, Crashbox.
