This is a Skywalker Sound sound effect. The original set was created by Christopher Boyes, and it debuted in Dinosaur (2000). Some of the Disney variants are high pitched edits of Jurassic Park, T-Rex - Attack Roar (specifically, the variants used in The Lost World: Jurassic Park). It was also created by using the sounds of big cats, pigs, crocodilians, and several other animals. One roar also included SKYWALKER, ROAR - SAURON'S EYE ROAR.
The Universal variants, which debuted in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, were created by Al Nelson, using an orangutan, styrofoam and a double bass ribbon.
