SCP: Containment Breach is an indie horror game based on the fictional SCP Foundation. In the game, you play as D-Class 9341 during a massive containment breach at an SCP facility. The ultimate goal of this game is to escape from the Modular SCP Facility. D-9341 must make his way through the facility while avoiding dangerous enemies such as SCP-173 (a statue that moves when it's not being looked at), SCP-049 (a plague doctor that can turn humans into zombies), SCP-096 (a human-like creature that kills anyone who sees its face), SCP-106 (a creature that teleports people into a pocket dimension), SCP-008 (a virus that transforms people into zombies), SCP-939 (dangerous creatures that can mimic humans they've killed), SCP-079 (an old computer from the 1970s that has become sentient), SCP-966 (scary creatures that hunt humans and are basically invisible), and the Nine Tailed Fox (a group of soldiers that enter the facility at a certain point in the game). D-9341 also discovers helpful SCPs throughout the game. These include SCP-500 (a pill that can cure any disease), SCP-1499 (a gas mask that teleports its wearer to an alternate dimension), SCP-914 (a machine that can upgrade certain items), SCP-294 (a coffee machine that can dispense any liquid the player wishes). D-9341 can find helpful items that do various things in the game. He can find gas masks, various levels of key cards (they open different levels of doors), medkits, documents, clipboards to hold the documents, navigation computers, radios, bullet resistant vests, night vision goggles for dark rooms, and coins to buy drinks from SCP-294. Many of the items that D-9341 finds can be upgraded in the SCP-914 machine.
Story
The game starts us out as D-9341 in his cell. Some MTF soldiers come and take us to SCP-173's containment chamber for testing. D-9341 and two other D-Classes go inside of the chamber and the door locks behind them. Just then, the doors to the chamber randomly open up and the other D-Classes are killed. Once that happens, 173 escapes into the facility as the containment breach begins. D-9341 makes his way through the Light Containment Zone and eventually discovers the doors to the Heavy Containment Zone are locked down. After finding a key card, we make our way to the security room and deactivate the locks into the Heavy Containment Zone. D-9341 makes his way inside there and comes across an electrical room where we see SCP-096. A guard sees his face and gets killed along with everyone else in that room. D-9341 goes inside, being careful not to look at 096's face. Once the power to the door is fixed, we eventually come across the room where the SCP-008 prion is kept. D-9341 equips the nearby hazmat suit and goes into the room, keeping not that SCP-173 is just behind the window looking in. The door to the prion is closed which unlocks the way into the Entrance Zone. We make our way in there, but at that exact moment, the Nine Tailed Fox enters the facility. D-9341 carefully makes his way through the Entrance Zone while avoiding the Nine Tailed Fox soldiers. After we find the exit out of the building, we discover that the door won't open. Turns out that the remote door controls are behing hacked by the rogue SCP-079 computer. Eventually D-9341 turns off the remote door control system and goes to SCP-079. He tells us that we can only leave the facility through Gate B which is locked down. He decides to let us out if we reactivate the door controls. D-9341 does this. Eventually we make our way to the exits again. A series of four endings can be acquired at this point in the game.
Ending 1
By ignoring SCP-079's instructions and going through Gate A, we can get this ending. In the ending, D-9341 makes his way out the front entrance of the facility but is caught by the Chaos Insurgency. We discover that D-9341's ability to reload from save points technically makes him an SCP.
Ending 2
By ignoring SCP-079's instructions and going through Gate A, we can get this ending. This ending requires you to recontain SCP-106. In this ending, D-9341 is captured by the Nine Tailed Fox and they determine that he is anomalous in nature.
Ending 3
By following SCP-079's instructions and going through Gate B, we can get this ending. This ending results in a monster called SCP-682 breaking out of its containment zone and destroying a helicopter. The facility decides to detonate the Alpha Warheads in attempt to destroy the reptilian creature. Eventually though, D-9341 is caught by the Nine Tailed Fox and is shot.
Ending 4
By following SCP-079's instructions and going through Gate B, we can get this ending. This ending is very similar to Ending 3 but with one big difference. If D-9341 had previously activated the Omega Warhead deep within the Heavy Containment Zone, the facility admins would detonate the Alpha Warheads just like in Ending 3. The difference is that the Omega Warhead will also explode alongside the Alphas, destroying the entire facility and killing us in the process.
Results Screen
After the acquired ending has been seen, we will see a results screen where the player can see all the achievements that they have collected.
