Max & the Midknights is an animated American fantasy comedy based on the graphic novel series of the same name written and illustrated by Lincoln Pierce (the author of Big Nate, which has also been adapted into a Nickelodeon animated series). The series was greenlit by Nickelodeon on November 17, 2021.
It started its production in January 2022 and its production of its first two episodes started in November 2023 and finished in January 2024. They were released on YouTube on June 9 and July 7, 2024 respectively. The series aired Nickelodeon on October 30, 2024.
