Madeline is an American-Canadian-French animated children's television series produced by DIC Entertainment, L.P., part of the Madeline media franchise about the character Madeline Fogg. It began as a series of six television specials from 1988 to 1991, and then was continued as Madeline and The New Adventures of Madeline from 1993 to 2001. The show is narrated by famous celebrity voice talent Christopher Plummer.
The Post-Production Sound Services varied by season: Michael Mancini was the Supervising Sound Effects Editor for Season 1 (1993). Season 2 (1995) moved to Fidelity Studios, with Supervising Sound Editor Patrick M. Griffith. Season 3 (2000) used Hong Ying Universe Company (who also provided the animation services) with Maverick Pei as Sound Effects Editor. The Sing-a-Longs (2001) used Advantage Audio with Paca Thomas as Sound Designer.
Storyline
Based off of the children's books by Ludwig Bemelmans, it features a girl named Madeline, who lives with eleven other girls in a boarding school and teacher, Miss Clavel in Paris, France.
