This pain grunt is part of a set of sounds recorded by an unknown member of Looking Glass Studios. They likely existed as far back as the development of System Shock. Unfortunately, System Shock 2 does not have a noiseless version of this sound. The two sound examples provided were ripped from Terra Nova: Strike Force Centauri as '0104.VOC' and '0116.VOC' respectively.
