This pain grunt is part of a set of sounds recorded by an unknown member of Looking Glass Studios. They likely existed as far back as the development of System Shock. This sound was ripped from System Shock 2 as 'dmgenhi2.wav', but first appeared in Terra Nova: Strike Force Centauri.
