it was used for Galaxy Express 999 and initially sourced off from JNR C11-190 but it was later disproven. and then it was said to be from D51-865 but it was also disproven.
the JNR D51 whistle was (or is said to be) from unit no. 453 (which is preserved in Nishiguchi No. 1 Park in Kashiwa, Chiba).
