HexVets & Magic Pets (formerly known as HexVet) is an upcoming CG and 2D-hybrid preschool adventure series developed by Nicole Dubuc for Nickelodeon. It is based on the 2020 book series of the same name written by Sam Davies. The series is produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studios and Boom! Studios, being distributed by Viacom International, Inc. It is currently set to air on Nickelodeon someday in Fall 2026.
Storyline
Kid witches Annette and Clarion are thrilled to become HexVet apprentices to the kind, clever, and sometimes cheeky Dr. Talon. At her clinic, they learn how to heal and care for magical creatures while picking up some important social-emotional lessons themselves. Annette and Clarion are unlikely friends that couldn’t be more different - she’s all drive and he leads with his heart - but through their comical adventures, they find they’re stronger together. Part magical procedural, part creature comedy, and all heart, HEXVETS & MAGIC PETS is a series about persisting after failure, celebrating differences, and bringing all the magic you can into the world.
