Grand Theft Auto 2 is a 1999 open-world action sandbox video game developed by DMA Design (now Rockstar North) and published by Rockstar Games. It was initially released for the PlayStation and PC in 1999, with Game Boy Color and Sega Dreamcast versions in 2000. In 2004, Rockstar Games released the game as freeware on Rockstar Classics.
