This is a Disney sound effect, is not included on Cartoon Trax Volume 1 or Hanna-Barbera Sound Effects Library. it was used once for the movie "The Fox and the Hound" from 1981 in the scene where Chief is hit by a train. the whistle in this sound effect is a 3 chime that was recorded from Baltimore & Ohio 4-4-0 (American/Eight-Wheeler) no. 25 "William Mason" (currently on display at the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Museum in Baltimore, Maryland, United States.), when it was masqueraded as "The General" in the movie from 1956, "The Great Locomotive Chase" that was also made by Disney.
