This is a Skywalker Sound sound effect.
It was probably originally a Warner Bros. sound effect that made its debut in the 1980 psychological horror film The Shining, before Skywalker Sound picked it up in the late-90s or early-2000s. Not to be confused with Hollywoodedge, Two Single Knuckle Cr PE108101 or Sound Ideas, HUMAN, CRACK - KNUCKLES: FAST CRACKING.
