This sound effect can be found on the Soundelux Sound Effects Library, which was made by SoundDogs. The sound was created by Todd-AO Studios. The horn that is heard is that of a Leslie A-200 air horn, allegedly being recorded off of Delaware & Hudson diesel locomotive #1205. Although it, and sister locomotive #1216 were equipped with these types of horns, it isn't confirmed if they were actually used for the recording.
