Jurassic Park, Velociraptor - Roar

These are Skywalker Sound sound effects created by Gary Rydstrom for the film Jurassic Park (1993) as the roaring sounds of the Velociraptors. The sounds were created by using a tortoise mating (for the barking, when the two raptors were talking to each other), an African crane (for a creepy hooting sound), a horse (for its breathing), a dog barking (which was completely in-reverse as a de-bark), an angry goose (for its hissing), one of Gary Rydstrom’s friends, a walrus (for the low-frequency roar), and a teenage male baby dolphin (for the high-frequency).
