Origins:
Those are the very rare roar sounds from the 1961 giant monster film, Gorgo. Not much is known about the sound design of those roars, apart of being made upon Elephant trumpets, and Lion growls. The film's credits had John Bramall as the sound recorder, and Archie Ludski, and Peter Thornston as the sound editors.
