This is a rare sound effect that is not available on the Warner Bros. Sound Effects Library. is known for appearing in the Coyote and the Road Runner cartoons, but it's debut was in 1932. the complete original version can be found in the Looney Tunes short "Bosko and Bruno", and since then, was reused for more recent cartoons. The whistle heard in this recording was sourced off from a Star Brass 5 chime steam whistle from a Southern Pacific locomotive.
