This sound effect can be found on the Hanna-Barbera Lost Treasures Sound Effects Library, which was made by Sound Ideas. It maybe originally a Skywalker Sound sound effect, probably created by Ben Burtt for Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977), before Hanna-Barbera sometimes picked it up in the early-1980s, then Sound Ideas added this sound effect in their library in 1993. It is included in SoundDogs, Animals-Wild, Bears - Bear Growls Elephant Various Rept 01 18 - Bears Bears Rept-01*18. The last wail is also used in Sound Ideas, ELEPHANT - SEVERAL ELEPHANTS TRUMPETING, ANIMAL, Sound Ideas, ELEPHANT - TRUMPETS IN JUNGLE, ANIMAL 02, and in Hollywoodedge, Elephants Trumpet An TE016001.
