The Anime Wow is a sound effect most commonly used in comedic ecchi scenes. It debuted in Parodius! From Myth to Laughter in 1990 and can be found in one of the sound effects in Track 36 in the original Japanese soundtrack of the arcade version Parodius! From Myth to Laughter (KICA-7904). Outside of anime, especially non-Japanese Internet videos, most of the time only using it to showcase something either cute or more anime-ish, it (more specifically the version with the echo effect) is paired up with high pitched versions of Sparkle and Bubbles 1, taken from Fairy Tail OVA 3.
