This sound effect can be found on The International Sound Effects Library, which was made by Sound Ideas. It was originally a Warner Bros. sound effect that is not available on the the Sound Ideas library re-releasing much of their collection. It shouldn't be confused with the similar-sounding of Travis Powers Gunshot Thunderclap. An identical copy, Rifle Shots, in Canyon, Classic Gunfire, can be found on The Odyssey Collection: Warfare Sound Effects Library, and another variation, Explosions - Firing a shotgun . . . 7 shots, can be found on the Network Sound Effects Library.
There are two versions of this sound, the normal variant and a muffled edit.
