Handheld ports for the Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance followed in the same year.

Summary

Officially licensed by Europe's 16 most prestigious clubs.

The European Super League may not exist yet, but it probably will soon. Fullfil your dreams of controlling recognisable players in the biggest games against the titans of European football.

Gameplay

European Super League is based around the 2000/2001 football/soccer season, with 16 teams (less in the handheld ports) such as Liverpool, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Juventus, Paris St. Germain, Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona and others, recreated with real life stadia, advertising boarding, and on some of them, real life crowd recordings, complete with chants. Players can pick from two gameplay styles, Arcade (using only four buttons) and Simulation (using more available button commands). They can also practice their skills in the "Training" mode, or can participate in the UEFA Champions League styled "European Super League" mode.
