This is DiC Entertainment's English adaptation dub of the first 2 seasons of Sailor Moon.
It's a Japanese magical girl anime television series produced by Toei Animation and adapted from the manga of the same name by Naoko Takeuchi
They made a lot of changes to it, such as the sound effects & music. They also cut out parts that they thought were inappropriate, hence the scene transitions.
Storyline
In this anime series, To stop the evil Queen Beryl from taking over the Earth, Luna, seeks out 14-year-old Serena and reveals that she has magical powers of Sailor Moon!
Although she's unsure for herself at first, Serena quickly learns that if you believe in yourself, anything is possible. Together with Luna, Tuxedo Mask and the Sailor Scouts, Sailor Moon leads the fight for good and justice!
