Comedy Inc. is an Australian sketch comedy series produced by Crackerjack Studios and Nine Network Australia. It premiered on February 19, 2003, and concluded on December 26, 2007; there were 5 seasons, with 96 episodes produced. The show was broadcast on three channels in Australia, Nine Network, WIN Television and Foxtel. It would later air on different networks in other countries, the show aired on Comedy Central in Germany and the Catalan-language channel Canal 3XL in Spain.
The show is similar to that of Saturday Night Live and Mad TV, as it has original skits and parodies different television shows and movies. It is known for the subseries "Ernest the Engine & Others", which is a parody of the children's show Thomas & Friends.
There was also a DVD made for the show called "Best of Comedy Inc. Volume 1", which was released by Sony Music in 2004; there wasn't a second volume.
