Yellowbrick Airport (YEB) is a medium-sized international airport serving the state of Yellowbrick, located 20 miles (32 km or 115 kilo-studs) north of the city of Yellowbrick. Although it's far smaller than North Coast International Airport (BNC) near Blockfield or New Bloxington International Airport (NBX) near New Bloxington, it is very popular with locals, who do not want to travel the long distances to the airports. Currently, the airport serves 8.1 million people, which is around twice the population of Yellowbrick and has two terminals.

History

The airport was originally planned in 1942, but construction of it was postponed until 1948, when WestRail built a railway line from Blockfield to Yellowbrick, partially funded by the city council. The airport was built from 1948 to 1952 and was opened on February 1, 1953, however, it only had links to Blockfield National Airport and ROBLOX City International Airport and only one runway. The airport was expanded from March 1955 to July 1957 to become an international airport.
