Sandwiched between Davenport and Bettendorf is the Village of East Davenport. It is the oldest town of the Quad City Metro Area.
- Built in 1896 it the original Davenport. Though in 1951 it was marked as a suburb of Davenport.
- It has one of Rowia's oldest railroad bridges.
- The village also has the Quad City Metro Area's oldest fire station. It had a old police station until it burned down in 2000.
