How is sea level rise calculated? Assuming that the radius of planet is defined from the core of the planet to sea level (hereafter referred to ${\displaystyle R_1}$):

${\displaystyle V_{1}={\frac {4}{3}}\pi R_{1}^{3}}$is the volume of our planet.

Denote ${\displaystyle V_2}$as the added volume and let ${\displaystyle R_2}$be the new radius.

${\displaystyle R_{2}={\frac {{\sqrt[{3}]{3}}{\sqrt[{3}]{V_{2}}}}{2^{\frac {2}{3}}{\sqrt[{3}]{\pi }}}}}$

The difference of the two radii is:
