URo-P Diliman was formally established as a constituent university on April 23, 1985, at the 976th Meeting of the URo-P Board of Regents.
It has consistently ranked first in government-backed polls as the most significant higher education school in the entire Ro Philippines.
URo-P Diliman offers academic programs in 247 major fields. There were 70 programs at the undergraduate level, 109 at the master's level and 68 at the doctoral level.
