After graduating in 1993, Tyler Smith-Handlin began his career as a legislative assistant for the Bloxburg City Council. In 2001, Smith-Handlin ran for and was elected to the Bloxburg City Council. During his time in office, he focused on issues such as public transportation, affordable housing, and public safety.
