Turtle Trail (Telamonian: Alanui Honu, Ro-Spanish: Sendero de la Tortuga) is a nature trail that leads from Nothing Town on Hopenau to Isla Norte north of Noblox in Telamon Islands. The trail offers scenic views and is more popular in winter. There are approximately 71 species of turtles on the trail.

The course of the trail

The trail starts at Pilikiri, at the Nothing Town Airport. From there, travelers travel by bus to Nothing Town, the largest town on the trail. The next section of the trail is covered by a ferry that runs on the Nothing Town-San Bloxago line. Then you reach the Turtos Islands. San Bloxago is a small town of 3,000 people, from which you start your journey. 10 kilometers from the town is the village of San Xavier, inhabited by 60 people. The villagers support themselves by renting boats to the island of Lupihiko. This island is a national park due to its large turtle population. No one lives on it. The next part of the trail is covered on foot on the ice (in winter) or by boat (in summer). After reaching the next island, the route is covered by an off-road vehicle. The southern part is covered by a national park. After some time, you reach the town of San Martin, where 3,000 people live. Then the route splits into two variants. The first one is divided into two stages, the first of which is covered by boat, and the second after reaching Mokupuni Lekapele by car. Travelers often choose this variant because of the picturesque views and the many species of turtles that live there. The second variant leads through the archipelago, bypassing most of the island. These variants join in the northern part of the island. Travelers then reach the capital of the province Noblox, inhabited by 30,000 people. From there, you set off on foot or by boat towards the island of Alahimahe, where again there is a division into two variants. This is due to the fact that the island is rich in interesting fauna and flora, which differs depending on the place, so there are two variants, one on one side, the other on the other side. Then, walking on ice and many islets, you reach Isla Tortuga Grande, where the trail leads through several valleys full of turtles. Then you reach the town of Los Tortuga, home to 19,000 people. Then you walk on ice to Isla Norte, where the trail ends.
