Tuna I (died 1188) was the first known independent doge of Gobloxia, ruling 24 years. His reign was beginning of the golden era in Gobloxia's history called the First Dogeship. He is known for liberating country from Pulu Dynasty rule.

Early life

Tuna was born in a small family. It is unknown, who was Tuna's father.

The political system was outdated, with governors ruling independently of the Pangodynaster. Tuna tried to convince the governor to his idea of reform, but governor refused. Embittered by the lack of change, Tuna I led a farmers' revolt, leading to independence of his new country.

Reign

Tuna reformed the old tribal system, introducing new currency. A new code of laws was then introduced. The foreigners were forbidden to settle without the ruler's consent. During the next years of Tuna I's reign, approximately 400 statues of him, a temple and a complex of tombs were built.

During the reign of Tuna I, provisions regarding "rwy" were also introduced. It was similar to the modern concepts of aura and Luobese social credit.

Tuna I died in 1188 as a result of an arsenic poisoning. He was succeeded by his son, Tuna II.
