On January 28, 2022, a huge and destructive tornado outbreak took place in Southern Robloxity County and Brickland. 203 tornadoes occurred in a twenty-four-hour span, many of which were significant, long tracked, and deadly. Five EF5 tornadoes occurred: three striking Southwestern Robloxity County, and two striking Southeastern Robloxity County. There were numerous EF3 and EF4 tornadoes, as well, with three extremely high-end EF4s moving through the suburbs of Southwestern Robloxity County and striking a city here.
Meteorological Synopsis:
January 27, 2022:
A moderate risk had been issued for January 27 in Southern Robloxity County, as a shortwave rotated around the main trough and over the county. However, the timing of the shortwave was a bit too late, and the cap held strong over most of the region during the afternoon and evening, preventing any significant severe weather from occurring; the event on January 27 busted. While some storms did eventually develop shortly after sunset, they were high based, producing mainly large hail and strong wind gusts, and did not last more than a few hours before dissipating. The lack of overnight convection, however, allowed for strong moisture advection on the overnight of January 27, as well as a completely clean warm sector. This likely contributed to the heightened severity of the event on January 28.
January 28, 2022:
On the day of the event, the RSPC upgraded the moderate risk they had in place the day before to a high risk for tornadoes for Southern Robloxity County, with a moderate risk for tornadoes extending into Brickland. A strong surface low had formed and was positioned in Southwestern Robloxity County. The dryline extended from the surface low down into Southeastern Robloxity, and a warm front was draped across much of the southern half of Brickland. Given the impressive dynamics, with a 267+ knot jet streak nosing into the risk area, as well as a very strong low-level jet, shear was very strong. 0-1 km SRH values were up to 800 m2/s2 and 0-3km SRH values reached 1,600 m2/s2 in some spots. Hodographs were textbook; they were very curved and exhibited the strong shear and potential for violent tornadoes. Temperatures reached 97°F, with dew points reaching 74°F throughout the warm sector. The cap began to erode by midnight, and storms developed around midnight. Five PDS tornado watches were issued for much of the high-risk area, both with >95% chance of five+ tornadoes, and a 90% chance of three significant tornadoes. There were two main areas where supercells with tornadoes developed: the dryline in Southern Robloxity County, and the warm front in extreme southern Brickland. Numerous tornadoes were ongoing, and the outbreak continued until just before midnight. One particular group of eight supercells in Southwestern Robloxity County produced numerous significant tornadoes, including an EF5 triplet that impacted a city and an EF4 triplet which struck another city, closely paralleling the path of a county route. The strongest tornado twin of the outbreak struck a city in Southeastern Robloxity County, with damage ranging well into the EF5 category. Several other tornadoes occurred, many from the same parent supercells, as most discrete cells were cyclical, producing numerous significant tornadoes. In all, the outbreak produced 16 violent tornadoes (11 EF4, five EF5). The outbreak is unique in that many of the significant tornadoes had very long paths, sometimes over fifty miles in length, which is fairly rare (but not unheard of) in tornado outbreaks. 123 Robloxians died in the event, and the damages totaled almost R$4.267 trillion.

Notable Tornado Families:
2022 Southeastern Robloxity County EF-5 Twins
This incredibly long-tracked and devastating EF5 tornado family began at 2:43 AM in a field east of a city and moved northeast. The family rapidly intensified and did EF3 damage on five homes south of a town. It then collapsed exterior walls of single-family residences in the area. EF3 damage occurred to 21 homes north of a city, as they were left with only interior walls standing or were flattened. The family moved into open fields and widened to about a mile wide at this point. Chasers noted that the family exhibited violent motion, and ground-scouring occurred with a narrow trench of soil about 43 inches deep being ripped up. Trees in the area were completely debarked. It continued northeast and came to a town, where the family intensified to a high-end EF4. Several homes were left as piles of rubble and in a few cases partially swept away. Extreme wind rowing of debris occurred northeast of town, and grass was scoured to bare soil. As the family crossed an Interblox, five cars were thrown 4,267 yards and crushed, killing five occupants. All that remained was some of the mangled frames, and the remainder of it was never found. The family turned a bit more north and then back to its northeasterly course at this stage. As the family crossed an unincorporated community and a river, more trees were snapped and completely debarked. A few trees were reduced to debarked stumps. A PDS tornado warning was issued as the family approached Southeastern Robloxity County. On the southeast side of the county, numerous homes were swept away completely—some of which had extensive anchor bolting—and an EF5 rating was applied to many of them. Pavement was scoured from roads. Now at peak intensity, the family went through the center of the southeast side of the county. The scope of the damage was extreme, as numerous buildings were reduced to rubble or swept away, and several buildings sustained EF5 damage. Vehicles were thrown thousands of yards and in some cases crushed beyond recognition and wrapped around debarked trees. More homes sustained EF4 to EF5 damage on the southeast side of Robloxity County. Debris was very finely granulated, and wind rowing of debris was intense. In 43 cases, the slab foundations of homes either buckled or were partially swept away. High-velocity debris impacts tore out large chunks of asphalt from a road and left large divots in a field. More large and well-built homes showed EF3 to EF4 damage before the wedge family crossed a lake. Violent motion and horizontal vortices were observed by chasers at this point. More ground scouring and tree debarking occurred as the tornado re-approached the southeastern side of the county, where 16 more homes were swept away at EF5 strength. The family then entered very rural areas, and the only damage done was ground scouring. A small town took a direct hit, and every building in town took EF2 to EF3 damage. The family did not damage any more structures until crossing into Southwestern Robloxity County. Many buildings in a city sustained EF4 damage. Five well-constructed homes were swept away with debris pushed about 533 yards from the foundation, but damage was only rated high-end EF4 there as the vehicles at the homes were not moved far and shrubs were not denuded. Past the city, the family began gradually turning north. The family contracted in size and did EF2 damage to trees and outbuildings. The family passed northwest of a city, turned due north, and weakened 14 hours and 40 minutes after touching down. The family killed 91 Robloxians, and did almost R$4.267 trillion in damages.
2022 Southwestern Robloxity County EF-5 Triplets
The 2022 Southwestern Robloxity County EF-5 Triplets were an extremely violent and devastating EF5 wedge tornado family. The tornado family began in fields north of an unincorporated community at 5:28 AM and moved into a city where EF2 to EF3 damage occurred to most buildings in the center of a city. The family grew to just over a mile wide and turned slightly right as it moved through rural areas in Southwestern Robloxity County. Chasers noted extremely intense motion and horizontal vortices with the family. Eight large, well-built homes south of an unincorporated community were completely swept away, earning an EF5 rating. A PDS tornado warning was issued as the family moved into the largest city of Southwestern Robloxity County. Incredible damage took place as several homes were flattened or swept away. Sixteen dozen homes sustained EF5 damage, as well as eight post offices and eight libraries in the city. Eight cars were thrown 3,200 yards and crushed beyond recognition. Debris was finely granulated, windrowing was extreme, and 32 Robloxians were killed. The family left the city and did EF4 damage to eight homes on an avenue. The family shrunk to about half a mile wide and did EF5 damage to eight homes on a road, which were swept away. The family crossed a river and debarked several trees completely, some of which were reduced to stumps. High-end EF3 damage occurred to sixteen homes on another road before the family moved into very rural areas again. Intense ground scouring occurred here. Eventually the family came to a residential area south of a city where EF3 to low-end EF4 damage was noted. The family began to turn north and produced EF2 damage before ending a few miles east of the same city. The family killed 32 Robloxians, and did less than R$500 million in damages.
Notable Tornadoes:
2022 Southeastern Robloxity County EF-5 "A" Tornado
This extremely low-end EF5 tornado began near a non-notable unincorporated community at 9:17 AM and began moving northeast. It rapidly intensified to a high-end EF3 as it crossed an Interblox and moved into subdivisions in a city, where a few homes were flattened. Eleven homes on a street sustained EF4 damage, being reduced to rubble. Three industrial complexes sustained EF2 to EF3 damage. As the tornado crossed a river, a PDS tornado warning was issued. Intensified to a high-end EF4 as it went through a neighborhood area. Numerous homes were flattened or partially swept away, and dozens were injured. The tornado continued northeast doing widespread EF3 to EF4 damage. It neared a mile wide, adding to the extent of the devastation. The tornado strengthened and did borderline-EF5 damage to five homes in another neighborhood, five of which properly anchored and completely swept away, and then took a bit more of a northeastern track and moved into the north side of the largest city of Southeastern Robloxity County. Near-EF5 damage occurred again, and wind speeds were estimated at just 200 mph. Several well-built homes were partially or completely swept clean leaving only their slab foundations left, and contextual discrepancies promoted a rating higher than EF4. The tornado turned back to an east-northeasterly track into rural areas, where extreme wind rowing of debris was noted as well as some ground scouring. Trees in the path were debarked. The tornado dissipated near an Interblox south of a city. It had a max width of just under a mile and damages totaled less than R$500 million. The EF4 rating is widely disputed, as it could have been rated lower, with three survey teams assigning it the EF5 classification. It was spawned by one of the eight intense supercells in southeastern Robloxity. It is also notable that it followed a fairly similar path to a county route. The tornado killed 0 Robloxians, and did less than R$500 million in damages.
2022 Southeastern Robloxity County EF-4 "B" Tornado
The 2022 Southeastern Robloxity County EF-4 "B" Tornado was a very long-tracked and violent tornado. Damage was minimal until the tornado was reported to have 161 mph winds northwest of a city. It totally destroyed small barns. Some ground scouring occurred as the tornado passed through areas southwest of another city. The tornado attained peak intensity when the largest city of Southeastern Robloxity County took at direct hit. Damage there was rated very high-end EF4, as slabs belonging to one family residences were swept clean. A few single wide manufactured homes were completely destroyed. Miraculously, zero Robloxians died in the city. A belated PDS tornado warning was issued, and the city retook a direct hit soon after. Twenty-seven double wide manufactured homes were completely destroyed at EF5 strength. Debris from the city fell from the sky in another city sometime later. It weakened significantly and narrowed to about 100 yards wide, and eventually dissipated west of the city. The tornado was spawned by one of the three supercells in Southeastern Robloxity County. The tornado killed 0 Robloxians, and did less than R$500 million in damages.
