Special Containment Procedures
RSCP-082 should be contained in a 150x150 cell with HID turrets being manned at all times. RSCP-082 should be monitored at all times. Attempts to reason with RSCP-082 (and even using RSCP-080) have all failed. If RSCP-082 breaches, Alpha Warheads are to be enabled. Failure to contain RSCP-082 and if the Alpha Warheads fail to neutralize RSCP-082 will result in a state-wide alert and evacuation of every house in a 50 mile radius. In case RSCP-082 attempts to manipulate staff minds, the window curtains are to be closed.
Description
RSCP-082 is a large Praying Mantis or some form of a locust-like insect about 45 studs (41.34 feet) tall and 28 studs (25.72 feet) wide. It also has 2 wings, which are 10 studs (9.186 feet) in diameter, similar to RSCP-080. It is believed that in some way, RSCP-082 and RSCP-080 are related. However, they do not recognize each other. The origins of RSCP-082 are still unknown. RSCP-082 has the ability to become smaller and bigger (RSCP-082 is unable to get larger than 45 studs). RSCP-082 can only form sentence fragments. Most of the time, RSCP-082 can speak only 2-5 words before suddenly stopping. RSCP-082 also has been revealed to be violent and rarely, has been able to manipulate minds into thinking things and possessing Robloxians. However, it can only do so if it is in a direct visual contact with the victim. RSCP-082 will also act like a normal praying mantis, which includes the following:
- Making it's "hands" in a praying gesture
- Making internal sounds such as garbling and even bones popping, similar to popping knuckles.
- Flying quickly at up to 35 MPH.
Discovery
On October 14th, 1981, 911 calls in an area southeast of Jarison reported a large insect that was hunting down farmers and motorists, and in one case a caller claimed that they heard a voice in their mind claiming that "Things can't get worse" after the same caller had been leaving a relative's funeral, and was also poor and had a disease which was expensive to cure. The caller, who is anonymous claimed that his car broke down and eventually was assaulted by 082. A farmer, who was doing a late night shift said that he saw something "striding through the cornfield", and then saw RSCP-082 lurking in a corner of the field. The farmer went back to his house, which overnight was destroyed by RSCP-082. The garage was completely destroyed, with the ceiling also falling onto the ground in some rooms. It is believed 082 was attempting to find the farmer, but failed. The Foundation only observed from a distance. Eventually, after multiple more calls and police investigation, the Foundation took in RSCP-082 and registered it as Keter, due to it's tendency to attempt to escape and it often destroying walls of Heavy Containment Zone. Every September-October, RSCP-082 will attempt to escape, however throughout the rest of the year, it is more docile, allowing for up close examinations, tests, and interrogation. The Foundation had successfully contained it by using memetic blocking equipment for the MTF. It was believed that RSCP-082 was using it's cognitohazard abilities to make the soldiers aim worse in the failed containment of 1979.
Failed containment
- In the Autumn of 1979, multiple farms throughout rural parts of Jarison Valley, specifically in Jarison and few neighborhoods reported sightings of a large creature making strange sounds at night and eating crops that were not being harvested at the time. Reports of livestock vanishing also took place. An entire family of 7 Robloxians went missing from their home as well. A group of 5 children also discovered large droppings compared to elephant feces in the local river outside Jarison. This made local headlines and the Foundation intervened, saying that it was a complex and sophisticated complex of flies that had been building for decades. The Foundation sent field agents to the farms of the valley and agents to the Jarison Lake/Darion Reservoir.
- On October 27, 1979, a boat full of 18 field agents out of 36 that were stationed at Darion Reservoir had gone missing. This boat had a mounted machine gun, spotlights, and could outmaneuver civilian speed boats. The 18 agents stationed on the lake shores reported hearing gunshots and screams as well as a large cracking sound come from the lake. Minutes after they called for a distress call, a large mass started to move through the water, resurfacing and revealing itself to be a large, long figure. This figure was later identified as RSCP-UD98, then RSCP-082. UD is used for RSCPs that have not been contained and have been undocumented. Foundation agents attempted to kill RSCP-082, however it instead killed the entire squadron except for one agent who ran away and left in an abandoned Foundation cruiser. The other field agent squadrons had been unaware that the lake squadron was taken out. The surviving agent, Agent B19 (Barrett Polywire) warned the other squadrons that RSCP-UD98 had killed his squadron and that they needed to be careful and use extreme caution and observe it from far first. As the night progressed, RSCP-082 had escaped.
- On October 28, 1979, a station wagon that belonged to a family of 6 was founded overturned and heavily damaged on the side of a county road in the valley. Blood was found leaking out of the car into a stream that connected into a river. After navigating the river, an agent discovered that a corpse and a few limbs floated out of the car into Bill Creek, a small river that was a watershed of the valley. They were discovered to have been eaten, the corpse being half digested before it seemingly was torn or thrown out. Multiple missing persons reports were filed over the Fall season, however October 28, 29, 30, and 31 had the highest reports. Local police were advising against going outside unsupervised/alone. The Foundation made a cover story claiming that an explosion had occurred mutilating the Robloxians inside and destroying the car.
- On October 29, 1979, many farmers and residents along Bill Creek reported of strange sounds and screaming from outside. More people would go missing on this day to where police had to drive along the streets with their siren.
- On October 30, 1979, possibly after noticing the lack of prey outside, RSCP-082 stopped hunting and seemingly had vanished. The field agents embedded in the county and town had believed that it had came for the harvesting season for unknown purposes. This sentiment would later change the following evening.
- On October 31, 1979, as the people of the town celebrated Halloween, RSCP-082 awakened at around 7:10 PM and began to attack farms, moving through cornfields and assailing farmers and children trick or treating. Over 20 people were killed and witnessed by a Foundation Field Operative Officer (FFO) the FFO had driven with field agents to Jarison when they witnessed RSCP-082 attacking the crowd of children, so they opened fire and failed at stopping the attack. They drove with RSCP-082 chasing them almost right behind, as it pecked at them, hitting other cars or breaking the road while running at horrific speeds. The FFO attempted to avoid suburbs by going onto an overpass highway that would bypass the town, however RSCP-082 took this as an opportunity to attack cars on the highway, flipping them and emptying them like bags of candy. It would dominate and rise over the downtown as it stepped ontop of stores and ate people not lucky enough to get shelter. A squad of general Mobile Task Force units along with Nine Tailed Fox (Epsilon-11) were deployed along with a few attack helicopters, and a battle ensued over Jarison. Buildings were destroyed and entire houses were flipped over and/or crushed. MTF squads fought in rubble and in active panic as civilians hid or ran around the city in panic. One helicopter was hit down and crashed into a suburb, catching fire. The NTF decided to call in a remote bullet attack. A nearby RSCP Site launched a large ballistic "bullet" caliber that would tear apart RSCP-082. It worked and RSCP-082 collapsed onto the city, not before killing 3 squadrons of MTF and half of the Nine Tailed Fox squadron. The city was a mess and this was the largest mishap and largest failed containment of RSCP-082 ever, because of what happened next. RSCP-082 quickly got back up, despite having 40 percent of it's body including brain missing, and swiped down a truck carrying reinforcements, then quickly camouflaged with the ground, and disappeared. RSCP-082 did not return for months until the 1981 incident when the Foundation swiftly contained it.
