On August 8, 2017, Russel King shot and killed Haskel Kurk for unclosed reasons.[1] A couple days later, Russel King was shot and killed by seemingly the same weapon, or at least the same weapon type.[2]
After news broke out, it was reported that no funeral was organized for him, but rather, he was cremated and his ashes were to be right near the testing ground of the ":3" MK3 bomb testing site. Despite Russel's death, he was hailed as a hero, even being posthumously awarded with a "Furry Rights Protector" Gold medal by the GFA. Mass celebrations broke out, and it was reported that Lizzy Elm burnt his house down, while "hysterically cackling" according to witnesses.
