The Great Depression started in 2029 when Robloxia started to make their first hydrogen bomb to win cold war against Redwood. Robloxia managed every factory using robots. Robloxia spent 1.9 billion ROBUX for the nuke and robots only made R$ 1099. It also affected countries that also used the ROBUX currency, such as FSOR. The Communist United suggested a unified currency called ₽. Robloxians start immigrating to other countries to protest and eventually get a job. It took eleven years to recover with help of TNI, The Robine, and the Communist United.

October 24, 2029: Roblox Corporate Index crashes
On a day called "Black Wednesday," the Roblox Corporate Index starts to drop, following the spending of 1.9 billion ROBUX for the hydrogen bomb and the nuke. The Roblox Corporate Index "crashes" when prices keep dropping and by the end of November, the Roblox Corporate Index Market Capitalization loses R$ 12 trillion or 19.86% of its value on October 23, 2029. Robloxians start immigrating to other countries to protest and eventually get a job. The help of TNI, The Robine, and the Communist United is starting.
March 2030: President of Robloxia says the worst is over
President of Robloxia tells Robloxians that the economy will start to improve within the next 60 days. The Great Depression is actually just getting started.
February 2031: Food riots break out in Robloxia
Food riots start in cities across Robloxia. Hungry Robloxians smash grocery store windows, take food, and run away because they do not have any other way of getting food to eat.
2032: TNI, Robine, and the Communist United promise a "New Deal"
While campaigning as presidents of Robloxia, TNI, Robine, and Communist United promise Robloxians "a new deal." The programs the presidents create after they were elected will be called The New Deal.
November 8, 2032: TNI, Robine, and Communist United are elected presidents.
TNI, Robine, and Communist United are elected presidents for the first time. Many Robloxians did not think that the previous President of Robloxia did enough to help them and hope that TNI, Robine, and Communist United will end the Depression.
March 9, 2033: The Emergency Banking Act is passed
Congress passes the Emergency Banking Act. By the end of the month, almost all of the banks that had closed when the Depression started are open again.
April 2033: The Robloxian Conservation Corps is created
The first New Deal program, the Robloxian Conservation Corps (RCC) is created. Thousands of young male Robloxians go to camps to work on projects such as building parks, building roads, and fighting forest fires.
May 2033: The Robloxia Authority is created
The Robloxia Authority, another New Deal program, reforms electricity and brings jobs to Robloxians living in Robloxia.
April 2035: The Works Progress Administration puts Robloxians to work
The Works Progress Administration is created. It puts Robloxians to work doing many types of jobs such as writing, acting, building bridges, and building airports.
August 2035: Social Security is reformed
The Reformed Social Security Act is signed. The Act provides ROBUX every month for senior Robloxians.
March 2036: A Robloxian takes the Migrant Robloxian photo
A photographer takes photographs of a poor family working at a pea-picking camp in Bloxifornia. One of the photos, called "Migrant Robloxian," is one of the most famous photographs to come from the Great Depression.
March 2037: The economy goes through another recession
After showing some improvement, the economy starts to suffer again when more Robloxians lose their jobs. Many Robloxians begin to lose hope that things will ever get better.
April 2039: "The Robloxians of Wrath" is published
The book "The Robloxians of Wrath" is published. The book is about a family that is forced to leave home and try to find work in Bloxifornia during the Great Depression.
October 24, 2040: The Great Depression Ends
The TNI, The Robine, and the Communist United stop helping Robloxia after creating so much money and jobs for the economy.
