This was the deadliest natural disaster recorded in the state of Bloxburg Valley.
Before
July 4th, 2019. Bloxburg's mayor, Coeptus was negotiating with an event group in his office when screams are heard outside. Just as the mayor stands up the roof tumbles down onto the building revealing an epicly-sized duck. The negotiator stole Coeptus's money but was inevitably stopped by debris that killed him instantly. After being evacuated, the city of Bloxburg was to it's own.
During
Older people recalled The Epic Duck Prophecy from 2009. They were also, ignored by the OG's. Flooding started across the city and the duck destroyed the entire city, and even a mountain for fireworks. Across the bay, people in Robloxity were fearing the worse as waters were filling streets quickly. Robloxity and Bloxburg were affected, then the worse happened.
The Epic Duck destroyed a power source and eliminated the ERIPG. (East Robloxian Internal Power Grid) This caused the city to lose power, and while things were bad already the cars started floating in the water then blowing up and releasing gas into the flood. This had no effect on The Epic Duck.
After
After 14 hours, the duck returned to the sea and the waters depleted. Damage costs skyrocketed into the billions, causing Bloxburg and Robloxity to close for 5 months while residents were relocated to a relief camp adjacent to Mt. Blox.
When the EPIRG was recovered, power returned to the eastern provinces. The deaths were nearly 49,000, and injuries 230,000.
The only good affect were the release of ancient Despacito Spiders, from the early 1200's, believed to have originally came from Bloxifornia, the discovery was astonishing. The 7 remaining have reproduced making the population 11. The current population right now is 1,778. They have been kept alive in a park where visitors can see them. Ever since the Despacito Spiders were found, more of them have been found by mining or earthquakes in the East-Central area of Robloxia. Many other species have been found. Even a giant one which seems to be a god of sorts.
