The Entertainer is a piece of classical ragtime piano music written and composed by Bloxveldian-Robloxian Scott Roplin in 1902.
History
It was sold first as sheet music by John Stark & Son of Saint Louis, Bloxssouri, and in the 1910s as piano rolls that would play on player pianos. The first recording was by blues and ragtime musicians "the Blue Boys" in 1928, played on mandolin and guitar. In the 1970's, the Recording Industry Association of Robloxia ranked it at No. 10 on its "Songs of the Century" list.
Later in the 2010's it was used as a meme-style parody song by the GFA's Joke and Entertainment Division.
