Special Containment Procedures
RSCP-030 should be in a disabled state at all times. Unauthorized personnel will be terminated if RSCP-030 is enabled via RSCP-030-0. If any personnel sees instances of RSCP-030 in the special containment site, this is a clear indicator that RSCP-030 is in an enabled state and the RSCP-030 tester clearly did not obey testing procedures. In that case, RSCP-030-0 must be used to return it to its disabled state before a broadcast with violent actions is depicted on RSCP-030. RSCP-030 and RSCP-030-0 is currently stored in a low value items storage vault.
RSCP-030 may be enabled if authorization from a Level 3 researcher is granted. RSCP-030 testing must be conducted in a site other than its special containment site, for fear it might trigger a false alarm sense in the Foundation. Subjects testing RSCP-030 must record a video, beginning with the footage of RSCP-030 being enabled and ending with the footage of RSCP-030 returning to its disabled state. Those two viral parts of the video must not be expunged, no matter how restricted the instances emitted from the television are. This video must be sent to a researcher with a level 4 or higher clearance. Any footage of restricted instances of RSCP-030 must be expunged from the video before sending. If a researcher elects himself or herself to watch a video originating from an RSCP-030 test, they are to be administered a local amnestic and must not take any notes during the video.
Description
RSCP-030, The Living TV, is not to be misinterpreted with The Books of Creation, though they have a shared usual anomalous property.
RSCP-030 is a color television, bearing the logo of the "Rizio" company. It has a similar style and construction to televisions built in the year 2016. RSCP-030 is fully intact, but has sustained minor cosmetic damage to the screen and frame. The only known procedure to prevent enabling of RSCP-030 is to disconnect it from any power outlets.
When enabled, RSCP-030's, either the protagonist or the antagonist in the current program will suddenly lunge out of the screen and become a physical object in the Workspace. Antagonist instances have been described as hostile, while protagonist instances have been described as friendly.
If personnel disable RSCP-030 using RSCP-030-0, RSCP-030 will grapple hook all of its spawned physical instances.
It was first discovered in 2017 in the attic of a Bloxburg Valley female Robloxian resident. She was cleaning out her apartment before she moved to Brookhaven. She was just cleaning out her attic when she found a damaged television. She decided to plug it in, which turned on the television. The television went to what appeared to be a Software Update screen, which fortunately was devoid of any characters. The software update lasted for two hours before the television was turned off. She later used her universal remote to turn it back on, which was a terrible mistake.
The television was currently broadcasting the film "Friday the 13th", causing the main antagonist killer to literally jump out of the screen and attack the female Robloxian, giving her mild lacerations in her legs, and losing one of her feet. The film's antagonist character, Jason, attempted to cut down her door. The Robloxian was already on call with police, and a Foundation agent embedded in the precient ordered a squad of Epsilon-11 MTF units to the location. Epsilon-11 jumped into the room through the window. Epsilon-11 tried to shoot the instance, but the bullets went through it, proving that RSCP-030 instances were holographic, despite them being able to physically interact with the real world. They turned off the television believing it was the source, then the hologram appeared to be pulled by what appeared to be a grappling hook, later violently snatching it back into the TV by an invisible force in just 5 seconds. Epsilon-11 took the television and the universal remote the female Robloxian used and sent it to the Foundation to be specially contained.
