The first season of The Anna Hottenmeyer's Show, created by Wendee Lee and Kira Buckland is known as Anna's 1 Hott! (アンナのホット) in Japanese and The First Anna Hott's Series (Die Anna-Hott-Reihe). The season made its debut on December 25, 1997, in the United States of Robloxia, before ending on November 24, 1998 after 49 episodes. In Canada, the season premiered on December 27, 1997; subsequently for later broadcasting, the season began showing concurrently on Namco TV, Fuji-TV, and NHK in Neo-Japan from January 8, 1998 to January 2, 1999, and on November 10, 2000, it did so on ARD and ZDF in Ro-Germany.
The series follows Anna and Susumu, two female protagonists, as they hang out, enjoy themselves, and embark on excursions around the nation with Matt, John, and Emily, three of their many friends.
