The Abominable (also known as The Snowman) is a 2003 survival horror film directed by Charles Garrison, and written by Stephen Mad and Cody Morales and produced by Bigtime Productions. The movie follows a family of 7 going on a camping trip in the mountains. During their camping trip, they encounter an enraged and blood-thirsty yeti who destroys their truck. Every day, the family must hunt and collect materials in hopes of being rescued by someone.
The film grossed millions of robux in just a few days, earning its title as a box office hit. The film stars Andrew McRon, Kaila Rook, Ivan King, Amelia Teal, Vanessa Blackhouse, Jack Oscar, Daniel Rider with Michael Cox, Natalie Fa, and Zeus Altar.
In 2001, Charles Garrison went hiking in an area supposedly full of yetis. The legend sparked an idea in the young man's head, he traveled to the main office of Bigtime Productions and submitted his project, which was green-lit a few hours later. Receiving a budget of 67 million robux, Charles and his crew went into development. Shortly after, pre-production started and thousands of people auditioned for the movie. During casting, the design crew started making props small and big and filming was set to be in the remote mountains. Later, full production started and filming was moderately great with a few mistakes and setbacks. After that, production wrapped up and was onto post-production. Months later, the film was distributed by Universal Pictures and released in theaters worldwide.
Plot
After months of waiting, the Parkinson family finally goes on a camping trip. On the way, one of the sisters rants about the creatures in the forest. As they arrive, they set up camp in the forest and eat some beans on toast. Devon (Jack Oscar) and his older brother, Tommy (Daniel Rider) venture into the nearby cave in the afternoon to encounter piles of skulls and scratch marks. The two are freaked out and retreat to the camp in which Grandpa Dick (Ivan King) comforts them. The parents, Jessica (Kaila Rook) and Francis (Andrew McRon) play a game of chess before going to sleep. In midnight, the family is awoken by loud sounds coming from their truck. It is revealed that a yeti is in the area and is smashing their own vehicle to merely glass and metal plates.
