THIS MUST BE USED WHEN THERE ARE TWO PARTIES TO THE PROTEST. If there are more than two parties to the protest, sorry, I can not do anything about it. If there are less than two parties to the protest, by definition, it is not an protest. If military is one of the belligerents, please use {{Massacre}} instead.

Usage

A protest infobox (sometimes referred to as a protestbox) may be used to summarize information about a particular protest in a standard manner.

The infobox should be added using the {{Protest}} template, as shown below:

Note: When using fields, avoid the ambiguous abbreviation "N/A" or blanking the field, and instead use "unknown" or "none". (see WP:MILMOS#CITE).

Parameters/Fields

  • partOf – the larger encompassing movement containing the event described in the article. If there is no larger encompassing movement, the field may be filled in with "No Greater Encompassing Movement". Yes, I know, this makes it weird-sounding, but this is what we can do at this time.   • dateBegin - The start date.
  • dateEnd - The end date.duh
  • location - the place of the protest. For protests covering a wide area, a general description may be used.
  • causedBy - self-explanatory.
  • goals - goals for the protest.
  • methods - methods used in the protest. Many terms can be used.
  • status - for ongoing protests, the current status of the protest. This should also be used if a final result is provided.
  • partyToTheProtest1 - Insert the first party participating in the protest.
  • partyToTheProtest2 - Insert the second party participating in the protest.
  • leadFigure1 - Insert the primary leader of the first side involved.
  • leadFigure2 - Insert the primary leader of the second side involved.
  • number1 - Insert the numerical size of the Robloxians involved in the first side.
  • number2 - Insert the numerical size of the Robloxians involved in the second side.
  • deaths1 - Insert the numerical size of the Robloxians who were dead and were involved in the first side.
  • deaths2 - Insert the numerical size of the Robloxians who were dead and were involved in the second side.
  • injuries1 - Insert the numerical size of the Robloxians who were injured and were involved in the first side.
  • injuries2 - Insert the numerical size of the Robloxians who were injured and were involved in the second side.
  • arrests1 - Insert the numerical size of the Robloxians who were arrested and were involved in the first side.
  • arrests2 - Insert the numerical size of the Robloxians who were arrested and were involved in the second side.
