Temmy Park Mall is an enclosed super-regional, three-floor shopping mall located in Bloxburg, Bloxburg Valley, along Bloxburg Highway just west of Bloxburg Valley State Route 14. Formerly known as Emerald Park Mall, the property was developed, owned, and managed by Moonshine Property Group and has grown into one of Bloxburg’s major retail and entertainment destinations, featuring more than 60 stores, restaurants, services, and entertainment venues. Its current anchor stores include BloxStreet, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Parisian Robloxia, and Temmy Cinema, a movie theater originally opened as an AMC location before being rebranded under the Temmy name. Other major tenants include H&M, BHS Clothing Store / Bloxburg Home Stores, Barnes & Noble, Apple Store, and Pottery Barn.
History
Temmy Park Mall first opened in 1982 with original anchors JCPenney, Sears, and Sapphire, which later became Hecht’s and eventually transitioned into Macy’s before its space was redeveloped into Dick’s Sporting Goods. Early in-line tenants included Foot Locker, Hallmark Gold Crown, Waldenbooks, Kay-Bee Toys, Deb Shops, MasterCuts, Baskin-Robbins, and GNC. In 1985, AMC announced plans to open a small two-screen cinema inside the mall, adding an entertainment component that would later become one of the property’s most recognizable features.
During the late 1990s and early 2000s, Temmy Park Mall underwent several major anchor changes. Sapphire closed in 1998 and reopened as Hecht’s in 1999, later becoming Macy’s by 2003. Sears relocated to Riverside Oaks Mall in 1998, and its former space was redeveloped into Bloxstreet, which opened in 1999 as BloxStreet's third Bloxburg location. Around this time, Moonshine Property Group sold a 30% stake in several of its properties, including Emerald Park Mall, to Kierfield Property Group, beginning a long-term partnership.
In 2004, JCPenney closed due to underperformance, and Parisian Department Stores/Parisian opened in the former JCPenney space in 2005 as part of a major revitalization effort that helped the mall reach full occupancy. Throughout the 2010s, the mall continued to evolve with new tenants such as H&M, Pottery Barn, BHS Clothing Store, and Bloxburg Valley Pizza Kitchen, which later closed.
A major transformation came in 2023 when The Temmy Company acquired a 20% ownership stake in the mall, leading to the property’s rebranding from Emerald Park Mall to Temmy Park Mall. This partnership led to transformed storefronts, entertainment-focused redevelopment, new amenities, and a stronger community identity. A new restaurant, P.F. Chang’s, announced that it will be opening in the vacant area where Bloxburg Valley Pizza Kitchen used to stand at Temmy Park Mall in summer 2026.
