You eat tacos here, not a brick. I mean, do you eat the bell of Taco Bell? - a Taco Blox employer.
Taco Blox is an Robloxian-based chain of fast-food restaurants founded in 1962 by Glen Blox (1923-2010) in a city in Bloxburg Valley, Robloxia. Taco Blox is a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, Inc. Tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, novelty and speciality items, and a range of "discount menu" items are just a few of the Bloxican-inspired dishes served at the restaurants.
History
Taco Blox was founded by Glen Blox, an entrepreneur who first opened a hot dog stand called Blox's Drive-In in San Fernando, Bloxburg Valley, in 1948. Blox watched long lines of customers at a Bloxican restaurant, located across the street, which became famous among residents for its hard-shelled tacos.
Blox later, inspired by this, opened the first Taco Blox restaurant in Bloxburg Vally.
Menu and Advertising
In 1993, Taco Blox was part of product placement for an action/sci-fi movie and updated their currently used logo.
In March 2001, Taco Blox announced a promotion to coincide with the re-entry of a space station.
Outside of Robloxia
In 2003, Taco Blox entered the Luobese market by opening a restaurant in the Ranghai Robloxian's Square, named "Taco Blox Grande". Three more TBG restaurants opened before they were closed in 2008. Taco Blox relaunched in the Luobese market when a store opened in a district of Ranghai in late 2015.
Clothing Line
In 2017, a company produced a clothing line in partnership with Taco Blox, featuring branded T-shirts and sweatshirts, as well as bodysuits made to look like Border Sauce packets.
2019 Taco Blox Restaurant
On July 21, 2019, a special Taco Blox Restaurant opened in a neighborhood-sized island called Blox Island (not to be confused with this Blox Island) in the middle of an unknown ocean (presumed to be a territory of Robloxia). As of an unknown date, 507 Robloxians have visited the Taco Blox Restaurant. The Taco Blox restaurant allows Robloxians to become customers, employees, or animals in the restaurant. Every Robloxian that is in the restaurant will earn money automatically via paycheck. The manager of the Taco Blox Restaurant is bamo999, who also is the mayor of the neighborhood. The restaurant serves a variety of Bloxican-inspired foods, including tacos, spaghetti tacos, burritos, and pizza; Bloxican-inspired snacks (named Snax), including Dietz Nutz (since September 21, 2021) and nachos; Bloxican-inspired drinks, including Bloxy Cola, Ayray Cola, Bloxy Cola Cherry Flavor, and Noob Cola; and Bloxican-inspired toys, including a Lambo, a red police car, a blue Ferrari, and a train.
On September 21, 2021, the kitchen of the restaurant was revamped so that Robloxians have to cook frozen food rather than relying on pre-cooked food. It also relies on the neighborhood's supply, and Robloxians can get hungry in the neighborhood. On September 25, 2021, the restaurant's supplier truck was replaced with a better supplier truck and Dietz Nutz was released.
Fun Facts:
The island was planned to have a moving train in development but was removed due to it "not making sense" on an island in the middle of an ocean.
A second island was planned to be annexed by the mayor where a giant bank would be there with ATMs where one can withdraw or insert money from his or her bank, but it was removed because not only Robloxia did not approve the development of a datastore and the annexation of an island, but the mayor had only basic permissions to develop the land here.
The restaurant was planned to hire janitors and suppliers.
The homes of the island are called "Happy Robloxia Homes" according to government documentation.
The Mustangs and Lambo toys are toy cars with welded meshes.
The ads on the island's billboards advertise other places the mayor governs.
