Stealth Practice is an GFA training/test operation, In this heist, the Infiltrator is up for a formal evaluation led by Halcyon and supervised by AndroidTan. The objective is to steal important data from a simulated technical campus.

Overview

"This training and test would be your determination to see if your fit for infiltration duty. For now, the test is based on a Data Heist during a Night Shift. No alarms and keep casualties at a bare minimum. Best of luck."

–-Overview

The primary objective of the mission is to retrieve several data files found in several access points connected to several (3-5) servers scattered around. They can either be found in certain offices or in the technical area. Raising the Alarm in any part would fail the mission, regardless the outcome.

To find the exact server; the operator must hack a computer in a Technician Office, to pinpoint a rough Server Location. Alternatively, they may search the archive to find the information but only shows a Server Room and not the floor it's on. Once located, they must access the server; it demands a Server Key and a Encryption PIN. You can get the PIN by searching a Technician Office's Drawer. Once the server is unlocked, the operator must search it to find the data files. Searching cost 5 suspicious hack points out of 60 points.

Additionally; the operator must plant fake evidence in said server to cover up the robbery, which then allows them to exfiltrate and end the practice.

"Tonight, we're going to be running a controlled test as an evaluation of your infiltration skills. You're going to need to cooperate well with your team to pass this test. We're simulating a data heist - get in and steal the data in the middle of a night-shift. And don't get caught."

Floor Plan

Basement

The lowest level is a basement that functions as a car park. The infiltrator can access this area by moving a "mobile dumpster" prop visible as soon as they spawn and climbing through a broken steel window, getting past door near the southwest corner of the map, or entering the building at a higher level and going downstairs. An Access Point is located on the east wall of the storage room. An Network Switch can be found on the north wall of the east hallway. An Server Farm consisting of three servers can be found situated beneath the north building. There is a camera in the east hallway on the north edge of the larger portion of its east wall. Another camera records the RFID door near basement on Master-Elite difficulty from outside. Only one security guard, Jessica, patrols this level, and they only patrol the storage area. Additionally, there is a power box in the maintenance room, which can be tampered with to trigger a power outage in the basement. Alternatively, the infiltrator can sabotage the generators near the power box, which will bring similar result.

Floor 1

Floor 1 is divided into two separate buildings, each patrolled by at least one guard. In addition, the patio area between the two buildings is watched patrolled by another guard; joined by a second on Operative+ difficulty.

The south building is a single-level structure that contains two possible Data Files locations, an access point, and a PC belonging to a technician. which can be hacked to obtain a decryption key. The two Prototype Cameras are in one of the locked offices and a desk outside the locked office closest to the stairwell. The access point is just outside the east stairwell and the computer is in the locked office furthest from the stairwell. There is also a maintenance room in the northeast corner of the building containing a power box that can be tampered with to kill power to this floor of the building. There is one camera outside near the front door of the building and another camera on the north side of the reception lobby by the vending machine. This floor of the building is patrolled by Eric. On high difficulty levels, Kingston patrols entire area covered by Dan and Stacy.

The ground level of the north building contains two possible Server Farm spawns, and a PC belonging to an Technician spawns, which can also be hacked for a decryption key. The Data Files are located in both IT Workshops, the access point is located on the east wall of the hallway, and the computer is located in the north office outside the stairwell. The Infiltrator can access this building by taking the staircase from the basement, using various entrance doors that must either be drilled using a drill or unlocked with security access. There will be a camera in the hallway just above the access point, a camera in the patio area on the south wall of the workshop, and a camera outside the west stairwell on the north side of its west wall. This floor of the building is patrolled by Winston and Kingston, and on high difficulty levels, by Jason as well.

Floor 2

The south building is a single-level structure with no secondary floor. Its rooftop can be accessed via using a grappling hook and rope climb up.

This level of the north building has an Access Point, an Network Switch, a security center w/ archives, a Server Farm area, and a power box that can be tampered with to cause a power outage at the balcony. The access point can be found in the hallway on the wall of the Server Farm area, the network switch can be found in the security center's storage room. A spare Security Badge can be found in main part of security center as well. This floor of the building is patrolled by Kaden, and the security center is monitored by Edwin. On high difficulties, Jason patrols area near staircase and occasionally visits floor 2.

Rooftop

The rooftop level is exclusive to the north building and can be accessed via a ladder located in an outdoor balcony area or by climbing a pipe at the back of the building. It can be used as an entry point to the gym area in its northwest part, or the balcony.

Progression

The operator's initial objective is to locate the servers containing the data files, which are stored on several servers in a server farm. These servers can be hacked remotely into networks.

Once the operator has identified the two servers, they can deploy a Wipe hack on a Network Switch, located near the respective server farms to dispose of remaining data and plant fake data files onto it. However, if the server farms are not identified beforehand, the Wipe would not be available and Evidence cannot be planted into the server.

Alternatively, the operator can manually find the Server Farm to directly hack into them and plant the evidence digitally. Another option is to bypass planting altogether and steal the server's data drives from the server room's rack instead; albeit requiring to place data drives containing fake data files.

If the mission is played on Operative+ difficulty, the infiltrator will also have to steal a certain amount of Data Files before exfiltrating. There are total of 3 files which can be found in 4 different locations (Only 1 is required on Operative difficulty, and 2 on Master difficulty).

Halcyon: Remember, make AndroidTan impressed of your skills and ensure no bloodshed.
AndroidTan: Any minor deviations would be costly to your grading.
Equiping an Pistol with a Silencer (including the Gun you equip at the start spawn area) AndroidTan: Excellent choice, it's light and quiet. However not suitable for mid or long range
Though good choice.
Equiping a weapon without a Silencer AndroidTan: Without the silencer it can help attack enemies in combat, though it's loud and would draw the attention of everyone within the vicinity.</brIf you want to pass this test; better get a Silencer.
Equiping a silenced shotgun AndroidTan: The 480 MCS, interesting choice. Chambered with 12-gague shells, and is silenced.
A killer that keeps their silence.
Equiping a silenced rifle (GFA-21 or the AK-12) AndroidTan: You do have a taste recruit. Automated AK-12 chambered with 7.62mm, and is silenced.
A efficient rifle. Keep it hidden though.
AndroidTan: The standard GFA-21. An modified bolt-action rifle that has an auto-fire. Chambered with 5.56mm, and is silenced.
A standard-efficient rifle. Though remember to keep it hidden..
Killing a guard using weapons (Fourth-Wall breaking) AndroidTan: As you had noticed, that doesn't seem real ain't it? We don't trust using actual firearms in an Training Infiltration with live guards.
Don't make this mistake again in actual mission.

Killing a guard using weapons when they attempt an escape AndroidTan: As you had noticed, that doesn't seem real, ain't it? We don't trust using actual firearms in an Training Infiltration with live guards.
But since the guard was attempting to raise an alarm, your would not be penalized.

But since the guard was attempting to raise an alarm, you are still fine.
AndroidTan: As you had noticed, that doesn't seem death-length. Right? We don't trust recruits to throw someone off in a Training Infiltration.
Unfortunately, you know of other ways to deal with them other than pushing them off. This would be taken into consideration.
Don't make this mistake again in actual missions.
