Speed Run 4 is an annual racing event created by Stanley Morgan and Vurse. Located in Baeliville, Diswell County, United States of Robloxia, it is held on the second Saturday of every year, the basic goal of the event is to sprint across several locations while competing with the clock. Each location has its own level of difficulty, and they progressively harder as one moves along. For each section that is completed, one receives rubies. Every time someone attends, they add up, allowing Robloxians to keep attending to earn more rubies.
The race was upgraded by in March 2018 to include stars in place of cards, the use of trails, a ruby reward, and other changes. There are 31 locations in the race as of this change. The event s renowned for its unique locations and participants. The race is the tenth-largest race event involving Robloxians on average, with more than 5,000 Robloxians registering for it and more than 900 Robloxians officially participating.
History
Founding and development
Stanley Morgan and Vurse declared on January 6, 2014, that he would be working on a racing event that would take place in the upcoming few months. Prior to the announcement, Stanley Morgan and Vurse had both intended to design a whole new racing competition for the city of Baeliville, but he later revealed that he wanted to do something more with the notion. The project got underway the next month, with Stanley serving as the primary director for the impending racing occasion.
Courses
BIn order to host the event for the grand launch in 2014, Stanley Morgan and Vurse built 10 unique courses. The Desert course, which used sand to construct it, was one of the newer courses. Stanley worked with the team, who were known for creating very popular maps, mostly for young children and teenagers, to create an additional 5 more courses for the event in order to lengthen it for its 2016 event, despite the fact that it had become popular over the years and with participants and residents of the city. The courses had been completed and were created by March of that year. They once more collaborated to develop two more courses for the event in 2017 as well.
One of the courses was the City/Skyscrapers Map, which took the team the longest to complete because the project for the map was often postponed and was intended to be added for the next year, but the team was successful in finishing the map swiftly. The large project was launched on October 9, 2017, and had intentions to include one of the newest courses, but it was subsequently pushed back to "shocked everyone." Stanley Morgan and Vurse then ordered the crew that they may develop 14 additional courses for the event in 2019.Since 2019, 31 courses had been created for all of the upcoming events. The courses were described as "fun and joy" in the 2023 announcement by Stanley Morgan and Vurse, who also revealed intentions to develop two further courses for the upcoming 2024 event.

Elda Cunningham incident
- Main article: Death of Elda Cunningham
Elda Cunningham, who was considered to be the "weakest" player by most competitors, was spotted racing over the Money course on March 9, 2020, while competing in the sixth Speed Run 4 competition. At the time, he was in 11th position and trailing Stephen Fox. He attempted to jump to the other side without touching the other plate, which is likely something the cops had him do on purpose, but instead he totally crossed the gap between the two plates before crashing back to the ground. He slips and falls down the course, though, as a result of going too quickly, killing him instantly. A safety precaution was created by Stanley Morgan and Vurse as a result of the occurrence, and they declared that nothing like would ever happen again and that the incident was an accident.
