The McTedson Corporation’s South Ridge Factory Complex, officially known as the South Ridge Manufacturing Complex, is a large aircraft manufacturing plant located on much of the former Roblox Baszucki International Airport, outside of Robloxity, Telamon State in the town of South Ridge. The factory’s main building is one of the largest in the world by area. The manufacturing plant was built by McTedson Corporation.
History
When McTedson Corporation begun entering the market of aerospace technology in 2015, their facilities were limited in size, so the company begun seeking out sites for its new aircraft factory. The old Roblox Baszucki International Airport closed down in 2010, and was set to be on the site of the new Robloxity International Airport. The company begun purchasing the land , due to its proximity to the new airport, allowing them to assemble and deliver aircraft quickly. Construction finished on the main building in 2019, after six years of construction, but limited assembly space had been available and was in use before construction finished.
Layout
The factory occupies the former terminals (which were all interconnected unlike the new airport) and consists of several large buildings. The complex sits on 600 acres of land and contains about 302 different buildings for different purposes, and borders the fifth auxiliary runway of Robloxity International Airport, which is mainly used for aircraft delivery. The complex has a fire station, and multiple restaurants. The main assembly building is the largest in the complex and uses multiple overhead cranes which use a magnetic motor to push forward and back. A Kings Heavy Rail air-cushion hover train provides transport between different parts of the assembly area.
