On July 8, 1983, a server unit at Site-02 was responsible for causing a mass breach in the Containment Areas of the Heavy Containment and Light Containment Zone. RSCP-096, as well as many other RSCPs, were breached, though the former was breached prior to the incident, but did not cause mass alarm.
Prior to Breach
Dr Mayfair, the Site Manager, was reminded that site's servers were being checked. Server 7L was reported to be down.
Server Room Layout at Site-02
Security Agent Lance was stationed at the server room to check if power supply to the server room is connected to the main server.
The Maintenance Crew sent to the Server Room arrived at 9.20 A.M. to fix Server 7L. Server 7L contains server data to the Containment Zones and Chambers.
RSCP-096 (Unknown why it appeared at Server 5H area, let even the server room) was looking at Server 6L. Agent Lance was thinking how did RSCP-096 get out, until RSCP-096 found him. Agent Lance saw RSCP-096's face, causing him to be killed by RSCP-096.
Subject D-01239, which escaped from RSCP-173 containment during the lockdown, have restored power to the Server Room. As soon the power was activated, Subject D-01239 was ready to control the servers.
At 9:20 AM, Server 7L was down for planned maintenance, the containment data stored on the server unit was relayed to Server 9F in another server room at the Heavy Containment Zone.
Server 7L was rebooted at 9:40 AM, but the site's power grid malfunctioned while it was starting up. Maintenance failed. There was a major containment breach in the site's containment zones and chambers as the server unit was down, causing everything to return to an uncontained state.
At 10:00 AM, Agent Lance, after respawning due to the incident, was going to the backup generator room to activate a backup generator. However, RSCP-096 followed him. When he turned back mid-way, he was killed. D-01239 was sent to activate it instead.
At 11:00 AM, the Maintenance Crew was told to fix the servers and the site's power grids due to server room being the site of RSCP-096. However, when they reached the main system, they noticed that a vine was in the main system with an RSCP-089 instance embedded in it. This caused them to be subject to a cognitohazard where instead of fixing the power grids, they would protect the RSCP-089 instance. This led to delays on what was supposed to be an hour long task ended up being protracted by one hour.
At 1:00 PM, Eta-10's remote controlled micropipette robot was sent to destroy the RSCP-089 instance with the Foundation's patented weed killer. It was successful as the leaves were scorched to death and the tissues withered into a death state.
At 1:01 PM, the power grid was fixed after personnel were able to return the RSCPs back to their original containment site. The server rebooted once more, and every containment site door was closed shut, ending the breach.
